AUSTRALIA Caversham Wildlife Park

One day we drove through the bush to visit the Caversham Wildlife Park.

Kangaroos, koalas, dingos, emus, wallabys, wombats and more.

What in the world is a wombat?

This is a wombat. And he's sleeping.

The park had a lot of free range exhibits and so many opportunities, to hold, pet or feed the animals. Gage and Sybil were in heaven. Noah and I kept a safe, sensible distance.

The koalas were really cool. Sleeping 18-20 hours a day they wake up only to nibble a couple eucalyptus leaves and then fall back to sleep.

But of course the kangaroos were our favorite.
