How do you take a picture of two wiggly boys and a newborn?
Prop up a pillow? Hmm. We're still trying to figure it out...
Mother's Day in this house was filled with homemade gifts, french toast - with Dave's homemade marmalade on top, and lots of hugs and kisses. Is there anything better?

Anything?
My mom and new baby Sybil were icing on the cake. Or french toast. I haven't spent a Mother's Day with my mom since high school.
If I could be a little bit more like her when I grow up, I'd be a happy girl. More patient. More calm. Endlessly selfless and giving. Full of love.
Gage called the 3 of us "the girls." "Bye, girls." "Hi, girls." "Can I sit with the girls?"
I'm so grateful to be a mother. And now I get to be her mother.
Still can't think of anything better.
