PHUKET, THAILAND

We spent a few days in Phuket, Thailand with the whole family.

Noah is so so sweet with his baby sister

who does not sit still for long!

The only thing she wants to do at the moment is hold on to your finger and walk around. This makes her so happy!

Dave took a thai cooking class one day.

Spicy beef salad, thai green curry, pad thai, all the favorites.

And we walked around Phuket town another day. Noah was on the hunt for coconut thai pancakes and a shark tooth necklace.

The boys loved the game room at the hotel which was perfect for the rainy mornings after breakfast.

Gage checked the banana trees every day to see if they were ripe yet.

I loved seeing these boys so happy running around the hotel playing with each other. Their elaborate games of star wars and goombas never get old.

The sunsets were gorgeous

And we really enjoyed the amazing thai food at this restaurant in a Sino-Portugese house on the beach. A MAZ ING.
I didn't take any pictures of the food because we gobbled it up so quickly.

But what we really went there for was the beach.

And to get as much family time in as we could.

Which we did.

I love this little Gage. I love his energy, his boldness, his adventurous spirit. I love his quick mind and the hilariously creative things that come out of his mouth. And I love his heart. I love that he needs hugs and cuddles and tells Sybil how much he loves her.

One afternoon Gage and I donned life jackets and started to swim out to the dock even though the clouds were beginning to roll in. When it began pouring, Gage started laughing and said "Mom! I think we made an unwise decision!" So we swam back to shore as fast as we could and took cover. The next  day when I asked him if he wanted to give it another try he said, "Are you crazy?!"

Noah. Wow, I love this boy. He amazes me every. single. day. I love his enthusiasm and his still gleeful innocence. I love how he walks the line of being so childlike and yet so grown up. I love his extraordinary creative interests and his uniqueness. And I love his strong sensitive spirit. The way he interacts with Sybil melts my heart and I love to see him shine under his Daddy's attention.

And Sibby! We all can't get enough of her. Sybil is such a sweet baby.

I love her light. She is quick to smile and laugh. I love that she wants to stay with me and is content. I love that she has so much to say. She'll look right at me and babble to me as if I knew her exact intent. I love her endearing heart. She often takes my hand and rests it on her face in a cuddle.

Beautiful photos, and as always, beautiful writing. I'm dying over grown up Sybil--the bows, the yellow shoes!
