Happy Halloween!
It was a so fun to spend Halloween in Utah this year. The boys loved how so many houses in the neighborhood were decked out, complete with Halloween lights. They loved the carnivals, the pumpkin patches, the hay mazes. I loved being able to find Halloween sprinkles or Halloween stickers or Halloween cookies or 5 different kinds of candy corn. Anything you want! Dave loved the recess peanut butter cups and the twizzlers. After 3 Singapore Halloweens, an American Halloween was like a great cultural experience for us. We loved every bit of it.
Gage, the glow in the dark skeleton
Noah was Ecto. His favorite Moshi Moshling. When this kid gets an idea in his mind there's no stopping him. He wanted to be Ecto for a long time and had some great ideas on how to make it happen.
Our little Sybil was a witch. But she wasn't very happy about having her picture taken. Or about keeping the hat on. Or the tutu.
The boys went trick or treating with cousin Rachel. The prettiest owl you ever saw. Poor Benjamin was sick and sat in the golf cart and followed along while the kids collected candy for him.
The kids made it to the top of the hill where the houses gave out full size candy bars. And we made sure to stop at Sister Johnson's house to go through the haunted house she sets up in her living room. And of course we stopped by Tom Hancock's place for root beer and donuts. That's what you do in this neighborhood.
Cousin Ali came along and kept Benjamin company. Its always so fun to see her!
Trading loot at the end of the night.
I loved seeing the kids' personalities in the way they managed their candy. Noah lined his up in neat rows, counted them and only ate 2 or 3 a day after he ate lunch. He wasn't that interested in selling it to me and 2 months later he still has some. Gage would eat the whole bucket at once if you let him. He gave a lot away to friends and sold me most of it for 10 cents a piece. It was gone in about 2 weeks.

Love those red and white striped tights :) Cute kids - cute pictures.
She is the cutest witch! I love your recap of the candy sorting/counting. Isn't it amazing how those personalities come out?!
