Gage's favorite color is blue.
His favorite ice cream is strawberry.
His favorite food is chinese dumplings.
He asked if Din Tai Fung could deliver pork dumplings on his birthday.
He makes a new friend in 2 seconds flat.
He is a sweetie, through and through. Always handing out hugs and kisses.
This boy was made to have a little sister.
He still holds my hand.
And snuggles.
He does the best puppy dog eyes with his big blues.
He swims super fast in his flippers and goggles. And is the funniest thing running around in them.
He has recently become an awesome reader. We are amazed at the big words coming out of his mouth.
And he would love it if he could take his scooter everywhere - the mall, the grocery store, school.
So for his 5th birthday, a scooter party was perfect for Gage. His little friends ran over to our place,
decorated their scooters with blue balloons and ribbon,
and lined up for the Birthday Parade with Gage leading the way.
Dave led them on a scavenger hunt around the swimming pool, with a coco surprise at the end.
And there was, of course, a pinata. Gage requested a big number five in his favorite color: blue, 2nd favorite color: red and 3rd favorite color: green. Anything for that boy.

Oh, how we miss sweet Gage! He looks so grown up. What a great idea for a party, as always. And your pinantas are the best too. Samara says, "I would like to bring my pink scooter to your birthday but I'm in America. Happy Birthday!"
Gage looks so grown up! And Sybil is darling - what a sweet family. We love and miss you all tons. So fun to have so many fun visitors. Love you guys!
