Easter parties

I love Easter candy. I love Cadbury mini eggs, robin eggs, jordan almonds, anything chocolate. I love the colors and the smells. Yum! I had to keep buying more robin eggs for our crafts because I kept eating them all myself. Can I blame that on being pregnant?

All ready for the egg hunt.

Gage was a master egg hunter. Once his basket was full he went around and found eggs for his little friends.

We also had an Easter party with our neighbors. Here's Captain Charlie telling the kids where the boundaries are for the egg hunt. We also raced eggs, ate donuts off of strings and had a BBQ. Some of these neighbors are moving soon, and we'll sure miss them. 

  

The boys don't believe me when I tell them we used to do this in the snow. "That would be so easy!" they say. And just think, you could even put the chocolate outside without it melting or without the ants finding it first. For here and now we'll stick to jelly beans.
