Nachos?

People ask me how I like Singapore and I tell them "It's great!" and honestly, that's completely true. However, every now and again I have a little experience that reminds me that I, and particularly my kids, can miss out on some things that are essential to every American.

In the kitchen with Jessie, enjoying our recently imported cheese, and Noah asks "What's a nacho?" What's a nacho!? Jessie and I cast pitiful glances at one another, each wondering how we could let our children miss out on such fundamental principles of happiness, and wondering what else we may have missed.

Fortunately, this one was easily straightened out. This, my son, is a nacho.

Yum. Nachos are our quick after-church-hold-you-over-til-dinner snack. Glad you're teaching Noah the essentials.
