back to Sg

We've been back in Singapore for just about 3 weeks. Routines are back, school is humming along, everyone is on the right clock and our calendars are filling up for this second year.

It's back to this big city life. The other date night we went to the Pinnacle@Duxton with some MSU friends that just moved to Sg. It was Singapore's first HDB which is housing built by the Singapore government to solve the housing shortage, prevent slums and so that every citizen can own their own place. The history of these amazes me and shows how efficient the government is (and obedient the citizens). The skybridge at the 50th story has amazing views. Amazing. You can see everything.

We're also back to eating Asian. I grabbed lunch the other day with a new friend and had one of my favorites. Beef hor fun. So yummy. I doused it with lime, shared it with Gage and he shared his watermelon slices with me from the juice stand.

(thanks to Malia for the picture)

Another day was lunch with some moms from my condo. My Dutch Lady is moving back to Holland soon so beautiful Herni cooked up a wonderful Indonesian lunch. We ate beef rendang, green curry, tempeh with green beans, and so many more yummy things I'm still learning about.

And Saturdays. We're back to our Saturdays. Which are my favorite.

It's good to be back.
