We had a household of sickies today. It started yesterday. I was miserable, Gage was miserable and couldn't sleep, which made Dave miserable. And poor little Noah just needed a play mate.
So, my favorite part of today? Opening up a package from Grandma (yes Noah, the one that lives in Washington with Grandpa). A beautiful quilt to snuggle Gage. Dave even made me wait for the babe to wake up before we could open it, I was that excited.
Other favorites today... A yummy yummy dinner from a thoughtful friend, playing church because Noah was so sad to miss it, and this moment brought to us by Noah himself:
Noah is playing "work" on the train table using a toy phone as his computer. Gage is getting nearer and nearer and is about to grab the phone.
"No Gage, stop. This is my dissertation!"

Your blog is always a wonderful place to stop in! Looks like you have been digging in to all that Michigan has to offer! I didn't know that you only had one more year!
I'm sorry you guys were sick - that is always hard for everyone in the family! So glad that Gage had something to snuggle with and brighten his day - and yours! Hope you are all doing better. Love you guys.
I love to hear about these little favorites that make each day special!
And really, Noah's dissertation! That is too funny!!
Sorry the kids are sick (and you). We missed you yesterday. Ike has had fevers (teeth I'm hoping) and Gage and Sunny both with stuffy noses. Hope you're better soon!
That cracks me up, i love hearing what little kids say!
