Amen to Nancy's comment. It is much harder if they're not ready and willing. Also, small rewards worked well for us (Whitney picked out princess stickers at the scrapbooking store, and then got to put one on her chart each time she went, Spencer got one teddy graham cracker, etc.) We purposely stayed away from candy as a reward. Obviously, different rewards work for different kids.
We used an egg timer in the shape of a pharmacist (a gift from a friend who was a drug co rep). We called him Potty Man and when Potty Man rang, it was time to sit on the potty.
I may have told you this before, but using the program in the book "Toilet Training in Less than a Day" by Nathan Azrim worked like a charm! It was actually EASY and it worked in one day (after months of trying other things). The book also points out that they have to be ready before you try the plan, like Nancy said.
I'm glad you're having fun with it. :) We had fun with it with Jack for awhile and then when it stopped being fun and got to be a battle, we stopped and waited for him to be ready, which was at 3 1/2 years. ughh. but then one day he decided and he's been great ever since. i'm praying brixton and beck will feel the desire at a younger age. i've had many friends that swear by the do-it-in-a-day-method. Good luck!

My only real comment is that when they are ready, they are ready and it goes pretty easily. So if it is too frustrating, they just aren't ready yet.

I don't have any advice however my sister has one that plays a victory song if anything lands in the potty and my nephew gets a kick out of it!
